The start of Elder McLain's adventure began on Sunday with his farewell talk. The turnout was great for his talk and what a great talk it was. Brother Liljenquist and Elder McLain both talked on the Atonement and did a fantastic job! The spirit was strong and the truth was proclaimed. One of the favorite quotes of Elder McLain's talk was, "Repent, hold on, and never let go." What a great concept for this life, none of us are perfect and we make mistakes but if we hold on to Christ and never go away from Him we can be made clean through the Atonement! Great message Elder McLain.
Thank you again everyone for coming out to the talk and to the McLain home after for a luncheon. It was a lot of fun and Elder McLain appreciates the support he has received in preparation for the next two years. Here are some photos from the farewell:
